Ein kleines Radio überträgt permanent die Frequenz 1485.0 kHz und ist damit zugleich eine Hommage an Friedrich Jürgenson (1903-1987). Er gilt als Pionier der Transkommunikationsforschung und als Entdecker des Tonbandstimmen-Phänomens. Danach gibt es bestimmte Frequenzen, über die man „mit den Toten kommunizieren kann“.
The permanent emission of a 1485.0 kHz frequency in this installation is, inter alia, a homage to Friedrich Jürgenson (1903–1987), a pioneer of transcommunication who discovered Electronic voice phenomena (EVP). Jürgenson maintained that there were particular frequencies that could enable people to „communicate with the dead“.
